Mamalahoe

Mamalahoe-the law of the splintered paddle was created by King Kamehameha the Great after a scuffle with a couple of commoners. Kamehameha being a strong Hawaiian tried to steal some fish from the commoners but found his foot stuck between a couple rocks. One of the commoners whacked Kamehameha with a paddle and it shattered on impact. When Kamehameha awoke from the blow the men were gone and he realized what wrong he had done.
